At Big Stars Cricket League (BSCL), we believe in fair play, sportsmanship, and integrity both on and off the field. To ensure our cricketing events are conducted in a transparent and ethical manner, this Prevention of Malpractices Code has been created. Every participant, team, coach, mentor, official, and staff member is expected to follow this code strictly.
1. Purpose of This Code
The purpose of this code is to:
- Promote honesty and discipline in the game.
- Prevent any form of cheating or wrongdoing.
- Protect the true spirit of cricket.
- Ensure equal opportunity for all players.
2. Malpractices Strictly Prohibited
The following actions are considered malpractices and are not allowed under any circumstances:
- Match Fixing: Influencing the result of a match for personal or financial gain.
- Spot Fixing: Manipulating a specific part of the match (like a wide ball or no-ball) for unfair reasons.
- Bribery or Corruption: Offering money, gifts, or benefits to players, umpires, or staff to change outcomes.
- Identity Theft: Playing under a fake name or pseudo profile.
- Age Fraud: Submitting false age proofs or modified records [Aadhaar Redacted].
- Equipment Tampering: Tampering with the ball or pitch parameters in an illegal way.
- Unethical Communication: Spreading malicious rumors, targeting players, or defaming management panels on social media.
- Official Defiance: Arguing, shouting, or using foul language against field umpires.
- Doping Violations: Use of performance-boosting chemicals or banned substances (refer to Anti-Doping Code).
- Outside Interference: Bringing threatening political pressure, monetary coercion, or unfair external influence.
3. Reporting Malpractices
If you see or experience any wrongdoing, report it immediately to the league organizers through email at:

4. Consequences of Violation
If any individual or team is found guilty of breaking this code:
- Immediate disqualification from the running selection batches or tournament league.
- Permanent system freeze and ban from logging requests across future BSCL seasons.
- Confiscation of awards, certificates, or trophies.
- Public announcement of the misconduct across official notification blocks.
- Legal action, if the malpractice involves document forgery, identity fraud, or criminal behavior.
5. Responsibilities of Players & Core Units
The responsibility falls upon the individual units to maintain compliance:
- Always play cleanly, fairly, and purely within standard cricket regulations.
- Maintain strict personal tracking discipline and stellar sportsmanship parameters.
- Avoid shortcuts or external tactical influences to secure performance spots.
- Respect your opponents, umpires, and all event organizers unconditionally.
- Keep the spirit of the game alive across all domestic trial stages.
6. Final Disciplinary Jurisdiction
The ultimate resolution authority across all reported malpractice anomalies remains bounded with the BSCL Central Disciplinary Committee. The committee will cross-examine evidence records, process both side logs, and pass a locked evaluation judgment. No secondary review appeals will be entertained once the final decision has been issued.
